Description Risk management Framework Senior Risk Manager Risk and Compliance Your new company One of the largest leading financial institutions in Australia Your new role This position has responsibility to lead and manage the implantation of the Risk management Framework across APAC. Role responsibilities: To lead the implementation and maintenance of the Risk Management Framework across APAC to support business plan and the regulatory environment it operates in. Working with key executives and governance committees to consider appropriate risk appetite statements for the APAC business, building off equivalent frameworks developed for the wider business. Identifying, designing and implementing the risk management process within Business and contributing to the ongoing development and achievement of business objectives by assisting senior management in understanding their key risks and responding to regulatory developments and internal change. Supporting the implementation of governance policies across the APAC business. What you'll need to succeed Significant previous experience in a senior Financial Services risk management role, ideally within a platform environment. Excellent knowledge of industry risk management best practice. Experience of developing and implementing management policies and processes. Ability to understand and articulate the commercial benefits of effective risk management. Excellent communication, relationship management and influencing skills. Ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
