LogMeIn, one of the world’s leading Software-as-a-Service providers, has an exciting Senior Solutions Consultant opportunity for the APAC territory, based in Sydney. This role covers the IAM (Identity and Access) and CES (Engagement and Support) business unit at LogMeIn with a focus on LastPass, but also includes products such as LogMeIn Rescue and Central. The Solutions Consulting team supports the sales organization with identifying and qualifying opportunities, discovering the needs of the customers, mapping products features and capabilities back to specific customer needs, performing compelling product demonstrations.

This role will suit a hands-on individual previously in a sales engineer/solution consulting role that has experience and a passion for consulting in the realm of IDaaS, Cyber security, remote access and support.

Act as the technical point of contact during the sales cycle running customized demonstrations, providing technical training and playing a key role in pilots and post-sale implementations with larger accounts. Demonstrate compliance of LogMeIn solutions to the security standards required by clients (Awareness of GDPR, SOCII, ISO frameworks, Australian NDB scheme, IRAP, other APAC specific legislation pertaining to data and security). Work closely with the Engineering, Customer Care, Professional Services, and Support teams on troubleshooting issues, providing detailed input to diagnose and resolve client issues. Communicate with clients by email and phone as well as perform client visits for presentations, training workshops and attend trade shows from time to time. Supporting sales teams to identify and close opportunities matching our product offerings. Sales proficiency from a subject matter expert perspective Supporting channel partner sales through demos, product training and answering technical questions Contribute to LogMeIn solutions’ implementation plans and provide proof of concept configuration Work with Account Managers to contribute to sales strategy development in territory Presenting to multiple groups, from management through to C-level executives Track opportunities to understand the pipeline and report progress to management
Secondary Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
Client retention Provide input into product development Assist Customer Care or Professional Services with Implementing or troubleshooting existing installations on client sites
Required Skills
3-5 + years of Technical Sales Engineering / Solutions Consulting experience or at least 5 years’ experience in other similar customer facing roles, such as Technical Support or Sales. Able to develop a solid understanding of the target client’s system architecture, security, and technical requirements and be able to match their needs to LogMeIn's product functions The ability to uncover quantifiable milestones or measurements of success in a security context with customers and demonstrate how LogMeIn Solutions will meet those metrics. Fluent written and verbal English language skills, with strong communication skills. Second APAC relevant language is a plus (Mandarin, Japanese, or others). Able to seek out and understand the boundaries of product capabilities, assess areas for improvement and new features, weigh that against prospect and customer demand, and report back to product teams and peers Strong experience working with or administering Active Directory environments, Azure AD Familiar working with VPN’s, as well as RADIUS and LDAP protocols Familiar with common encryption, hashing, authorization, and authentication standards such as AES-256, SHA-256, script, OAuth, OpenID, SAML Experience administering or implementing SSO solutions are a plus Experience in the following areas: Networking, Operating Systems, administration of back-up, virtualization, project management and process management are a plus.
