What does the role involve?
As the Cyber Risk Consultant, you will be responsible for leading delivery of first-line operational cyber security and technology risk management for project and business change within Australia Post.
The focus of the role is on delivering first-line, non-project related, cyber & technology risk management activities including threat and risk assessments, risk monitoring, risk governance, key risk indicator management and risk reporting.
The role provides advice and consulting services to the Information Security Office, Cyber Strategy Program, Business Units and governance bodies within APG to manage and support good understanding of cyber and technology risks across the organisation.
The role requires an in-depth understanding of risk management frameworks, key risk indicators and security metrics, the current threat landscape, industry good risk practices, effective cyber reporting, communication and governance practices.

You will ideally be someone who has worked in a large and complex organisation and pragmatic understanding of best practices to meet information security outcomes. Needless to say, you will have exceptional communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
