Our client is a large transport company that carries a wide variety of general freight throughout Australia with numerous depots. As their next Compliance and Administration Officer, you will be at the centre of the business, ensuring compliance with national legislation and regulations. Who will I work for? The Compliance team play an essential part in ensuring the success of the business and your ability to be accurate and create practical solutions, will be rewarded. You will have a tidy work environment, a great income in a stable company and access to a monthly RDO. What will my role be? Working in a committed team of three, your role will include the following:
Completing all transport compliance activities related to NHVR, WAHVA, AgSafe, TruckSafe and HACCP;
Processing records and extensive data entry for pre-starts, job cards and work diaries;
Compiling new employee paperwork;
Ensuring site licences, registrars, databases and accreditations are up to date;
Updating internal policies and procedures in line with legislative changes;
Training of new and existing staff on policies and procedures; and
General administrative tasks including filing, scanning, data entry and document editing.
Your role will be varied and see you involved in national standards, internal/ external compliance and audits, dangerous goods, new employee inductions and staff training. Who are we looking for? This role is ideal for someone who is skilled at researching and understanding legislation and applying these rules in the day-to-day operations of a business. Your accuracy and high levels of attention to detail are critical for success in this role. Whether you are local to Toowoomba or wanting to relocate to Queensland, we want to hear from you.
