European industrial engineering company seeks a technically-minded WHS Expert to oversee the safety of all technical staff on site.
This multinational engineering company is currently seeking a WHS Officer to oversee site safety of Project Staff, Engineers, Mechanics, Electricians, Service Technicians, IT Programmers, and other staff on-site.
Reporting directly to the HSE Compliance & Risk Manager, you will take a proactively approach to identify, analyse, and reduce or neutralise any safety risks which may cause injury within industrial or distribution centre settings.
To be successful in this South East Melbourne based role you will have:
Relevant WHS and Risk Management qualifications
Expertise in Workplace Safety, Machine Safety, Environmental Safety
Experience auditing, analysing and maintaining safe systems of work
Smooth rollout of new policies including COVID safe processes
Liaison skills with managers in a construction or industrial setting
Clear, timely, and persuasive communication style
Conducting workplace audits, investigations, and site inspections
Analysing risk when installing and commissioning hi-spec machinery
Ability to document risk assessments, safety training, incident reporting, and compliance strategies
100% Reliability and capable of getting the job done!
Have a valid driver's license and car
Hybrid model, working from your home, office, and various Melbourne based client sites.
